ANDILAB 76

The ANDILAB 76 is an analog module that supports both the DIGILAB 1Kx208 as well as the Altera Excalibur NIOS development kit. Analog inputs and outputs allow the implementation of DSP algorithms, stand-alone or combined with an Altera NIOS soft core processor.

ANDILAB 76 Features :

  • ADC: 12 Bit resolution, sample rate up to 55MSPS, 64MSPS at reduced resolution
  • DAC: 12 Bit resolution, sample rate up to 128MSPS, input word rate up to 64MSPS
  • Programmable interpolation filter, supports interpolation by two, four and bypass; several characteristics (low-pass, band-pass) available
  • Programmable clock synthesizer, supports sample rates from 10MSPS to 128MSPS
  • SMB-type Clock output; optional clock input, if clock synthesizer is bypassed
  • All analog interfaces standard 50 Ohm SMB type
  • Programmable input gain from -6dB to +36dB
  • Programmable anti-alias filter
  • Programmable digital high-pass-filter
  • Fits onto the DIGILAB 1Kx208 and both daughter card connectors of the Altera Excalibur Development Kit

ANDILAB 76 Applications :

  • Signal Processing chain from analog to analog
  • In-Circuit benchmarking of signal processing IPs
  • Digital Signal Processing both done in HW (logic) and SW (NIOS)
  • (Arbitrary) Signal generation, e.g. Video
  • Waveform capture with user constructed complex trigger condition and SRAM or SDRAM memory in excess of 128k
  • Direct IF demodulation and baseband interface via the DIGILAB 1Kx208 onboard audio codec.
