The DIGILAB SX is a high-end prototyping
system based on Altera's Stratix device family. It provides system designers
with an economical solution for hardware prototyping and verification. Any
Altera Stratix device in a 956 Pin BGA package is supported, from an
EP1S30 all the way up to an EP1S80 with approximately 80.000 logic elements and
more than 7 MBit of embedded RAM. Together with two completely independent
SODIMM sockets and two general purpose prototype headers, the DIGILAB SX
can be used to setup very powerful processing and prototyping systems.

Memory |

The DIGILAB Memory module is a universal
memory module for use with El Camino and Altera prototyping boards. It supports
up to 512k x 36 synchronous SRAM as well as 2M x 16 or 4M x 8 FLASH memory,
connected to a common address and data bus. The module comes in a standard
144-pin SODIMM form factor and can be used with any El Camino or Altera
prototyping board that offers one or more 144-pin SODIMM sockets.
Furthermore the memory module offers all storage requirements, necessary for
Cyclone based processor systems. There is an Altera EPCS4 serial configuartion
device that can be used for Cyclone device configuration. A NIOS processor can
use FLASH and synchronous RAM for data and program storage.
